I adore this shot!!!
Love love love this shot!
It's a beautiful photograph. I am sorry to hear about the events of the day...sounds very sad. Here's sending some strength your way!
So sad and symbolic at the same time. Sorry for the loss. That's tragic.I really like the angle you took. Good eye.
such a beautiful shot, so sad but so poignant. Saw you on macro friday and recognised you from picture summer and sunday creative, small world!
You definitely know how to make barbed wire look pretty! So sorry about the funeral.
I have been using lightroom 2 for a few months and really love it, I have never been able to get my head around photoshop and I love the simplicity of lightroom. 3 seems great although I have only had it for 2 days! I shoot in raw and find it great for that and just use the basics - contrast and sharpen - hope that helps.
sounds like a really tough day :( Great use of the picture.
Praying for the family.. Love the symbolic photo.. and additonaly itis a great photo. Well done. If it were my pick.. I would be picking this as the winner.
Prayers are with that family...Your photo is beautiful, as is the symbolism
Wow - life isn't always pretty and you've captured that really well. I love the shot though and I'm your newest follower.
What an intense shot. My thoughts are with the family in their loss.
appreciate the truth and insight in your response...
Goodness. My thoughts and prayers to you and the family.<3
Wonderful photo and interpretation of the inspiration word.
I too have lost loved ones recently, and barbed wire is right! The colors are great.
Sorry for the loss of someone so young. Love this photo, great feel to it. Hugs Anesha
A photo to make you stop and think as a death of someone so young can't help you do either. Sincere sympathies...
I too agree...great interpretation / fabulousshot / intense color / veryreal emotion.Thank you for sharing personalside of it all too ~j.
So sorry to hear about the funeral :(My boyfriend's aunt and baby cousin died about a month ago leaving 3 little children, so I can relate to the pain and sorrow.Your photo is beautiful, though, and I love that you gave it so much meaning.
This is a wonderful picture - I really love the depth of field and the perspective. The bright background gives the photos an element of hope - hopefully the green will soon cover over the barbs and you and your friends family will move through the grief.
How sad, sorry to hear this.
This is a gorgeous image! And I can totally feel the "raw" emotion behind it!
sounds like a rough day. you really captured the emotion in that photo. and i love the depth of field.
I know exactly how you feel - 2 weeks ago, my friend burried her 29 year old son - and looking at that family reminds me of your photo. Raw indeed.
