Saturday photo project

I couldn't make just one color quilt.

I chose to make each quilt in one color here goes.
#1 nature's blues - earth, water, sky
#2 nature's absence of color, or is it? I like to think of it as nature's "silver."

#3 natural and man-made object found outdoors, again the "lack" of color

#4 the reds of my kitchen - I love these reds, and just happened to have a lot of pomegranates laying around

#5 man's blues - dirty blues, I call this
I had a heck of a time making the text correspond with the photos today! Sorry about that, and hope you can see what's what. Enjoy!
I can't wait to see everyone else's and see what's up for next week!

  1. I LOVE your color quilts....every one of them! They are beautiful!

  2. They are all beautiful...I was tempted to go with one tone too...
    You have a great eye!

  3. What energy you have! Love your quilts.

  4. I love your quilts! I was thinking about using one color, too. Really, nice!!

  5. You are prolific! I really love that second one with the frosty looking curly nature bits... lovely.

  6. I'm blown away...these are incredible...and so creative. Oh my goodness...I'm so glad you made more than one!

  7. So wonderful and inspiring and a great opportunity to see your lovely quilts in this place. Thank you for sharing your spirit with us.

  8. These are beautiful and I love the monochromatic theme. What interesting textures and great way to fill the frames. I really enjoyed this project!
